Learning purpose

This app teaches short Korean expressions and introductory Hangul for common fan situations, including comments, letters, greetings, events and everyday interactions. It is a learning aid, not a complete Korean curriculum, certified proficiency course or translation service. The current guide language is English and the learning language is Korean.

Expressions and usage tips are general examples. Their appropriateness depends on the relationship, context, event rules and level of formality. Follow venue and staff instructions, respect personal boundaries and avoid sharing private information. A practiced expression does not guarantee a response, event access or permission to contact an artist.

Pronunciation and practice

Learning expressions use synthetic Google Cloud Text-to-Speech audio generated in advance and bundled with the app. They are not spoken or endorsed by an artist. The installed app does not call that API for playback. Some Hangul practice sounds and helper text use an installed offline Android Korean text-to-speech voice; device speech tools are available in audio help. Synthetic speech may occasionally pronounce a word or sentence unnaturally. The romanized pronunciation guide is an aid, not the International Phonetic Alphabet; it cannot represent all Korean sounds or sound changes. Listen to the Korean audio and use the Hangul explanations together.

The home mascot has optional preset Korean greeting audio, generated in advance using ElevenLabs through fal.ai and bundled with the app. This audio is synthetic, not a real artist’s performance or endorsement. The installed app does not call those services to generate speech, and the greetings are not responses to your practice recordings.

Practice recordings are for listening to yourself. The app does not grade pronunciation or automatically determine fluency. Listening and completion counts describe actions in the app rather than proven mastery. For further study, seek a qualified teacher or reliable Korean-language learning resources.

Offline features and external services

Bundled lessons, local records and installed offline speech voices can be used without a developer learning server. Ads, consent services, downloading speech voices, external resources and a receiving sharing/cloud-storage service may require internet access.

Additional learning situations can be unlocked by an optional rewarded ad. Unlocks are recorded on this device and may be lost after clearing storage or reinstalling; they are not a paid account entitlement. A different rewarded-ad option pauses banners for two hours. Reward availability depends on ad availability and successful reward completion. Manual learning backups do not preserve these advertising rewards.

Content and illustrations

The app contains developer-prepared learning examples, a pocket-themed KPOP FAN icon design, a fictional mascot and AI-generated illustrations documented in the app source repository. AI-generated art is not a statement that every possible third-party rights question has been legally cleared. The app does not distribute commercial music recordings, song lyrics, real artist photographs or official group logos in this release.

The home mascot and illustrated people are fictional. They are not actual artists or representations of a particular K-pop group. Their brief greetings are preset messages, not live conversations or personalized AI advice. The app is independent and does not claim endorsement by artists, agencies, event organizers or educational institutions. Third-party names and linked resources remain associated with their respective owners. Report a suspected content error or rights issue to support with the relevant screen or expression.
